All Decked Out

It's a tradition in our home to decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend. We started setting everything up on Thursday night and had everything finished and cleaned up by Friday. We've been enjoying the happy glow of the tree and the overall change in the atmosphere of our home ever since. The stockings are hung and the presents are wrapped & under the tree, bring on the holiday season!

We added the barn to our village this year. 

PugsGiving

It was just the three of us this year for Thanksgiving—Me, Marty, & Pongo. I am so grateful for my boys and the time I've been able to spend with them this weekend. We have so much to be thankful for, it seems like life just keeps getting better and better. We love having Thanksgiving with our families, but with how busy life gets sometimes it's just nice to spend time with each other. We had Thanksgiving with just us and Pongo a couple years ago and we were excited to recreate that Thanksgiving.

Friday morning we ventured out around 10 AM to do some black Friday shopping. We missed all the crazy crowds and still managed to get some great deals—my kind of black Friday!

Menu: 

• Cinnamon rolls (breakfast) 
• Parmesan Chicken (yup, no turkey) 
• Creamy garlic red mashed potatoes
• Whole wheat rolls
• Stuffing
• Cranberry juice
• Pumpkin Pie & Apple pie
