Bear Lake Escape

Beautiful drive up to the lake...

We stopped at the over look for a freezing cold photo-op.

The Lake!

This is what we woke up to the next morning... burr!

So we cuddled up and watched classic movies :)

and pretended it was warm...

We went on a walk on the "beach". We felt a lot like Arctic explorers.
I was disappointed there were no penguins...

Yeah, that's the shore-line.

Frozen seashells in the snow :]

We couldn't resist the playground.

Even though it was freezing, it was undeniably beautiful.

For Valentines Day Marty got me a whole bunch of clay...

even though he was more interested in towers, he still made me a flower ✿

I was more in to the cute stuff...

His towers kept getting better and better!
I was impressed.

Sunday was Gorgeous!
We had fun visiting a new ward, it's good to know the church is true no matter where you go :)

We were sad to leave, but smiling because we had such a fun relaxing time together.

Good bye Bear Lake... We'll visit you again this summer! ☼

We had a breath-taking and wintery drive home. . .

TREES!

Our first vacation as a married couple was a total success ♥
Thanks Marty :)

(and thank you Gramma Carol for letting us use your place!)
