There were duckies everywhere!

We had a beautiful little walk around the pond.
We made some new friends too.
Great little place for a picnic dinner :)
We were thinking this was one of those days where everything would go according to plan..
That is until we saw this ↓
Friday the 13th...
We had plans to go the Blaze game with the Hugies. Both couples had double checked the schedule on-line to make sure we knew when the game was.
To our great surprise the game was supposed to be on Saturday...
We ended up being the only people at Energy Solutions Arena...
We thought it was a little suspicious that there were no lines...
But we laughed it off and decided to make lemonade out of lemons :)
So we headed to Temple Square instead.
And I'm SO glad we did! The flowers are incredible!
We had such a great time walking around the endless rows of flowers..

It's kinda fun to be a tourist in your own city.
To end the night we toured the church history museum.
It really made me appreciate the early saints and the amazing prophets that we have in these latter days.
Overall we had a great night. :) It was fun to do something unexpected and make the best of the situation.
