The first of many...

We successfully had our first campout at the new Abbott property this weekend. I'm sure it was just the first of many more to come. It was so nice to get away for the holiday weekend and not worry if all the good spots were taken because we owned the place ;) For Marty, this was a childhood dream come true. His parents have been talking about buying a property and building a cabin for decades and they finally went through with it! The only bummer about this weekend was the fact that we were missing a few Abbotts to share the maiden campout with (Bruce, Corey, Bethany, Kayla, and Teyton).

Marty and I had a great time 4-wheeling and exploring other parts of Sunridge.

And soaked up some rays at the same time.

Buddy was in doggie heaven! 

The next area Marty and I explored was Moose Lake

Pretty little spot, I can't wait to take out a little boat and paddle around the lake. 

We had mixed feelings about seeing hints of fall while we were exploring. 

Marty was like a kid in a candy store :] We both had such a great time and we're already making plans to go back before the weather gets too chilly. We're excited for a new tradition of summers at Sunridge.
