The Abbott Adventures: Celebrating

Marty and I have a lot to be grateful for. June 29, 2011 was our 6 month mark of mawage, and we are still very much in love and excited for the months and years ahead. Marty and I both got new jobs. I am now a nanny for the most adorable little baby boy in the whole world (Isaac). & Marty is now a ready-mix truck driver for JBP (today is his first day). We feel tremendous relief and we feel confident about our future plans. This weekend we celebrated our nation's independence with a family trip to Bear Lake. It was so fun to see most of my cousins and aunts and uncles all in one place. We had a blast! This will be a post filled with our celebrations as of late.

On our 6 month anniversary we drove past the place where we had our reception a very cold 6 months ago... I can't believe how different everything looks! We loved our quaint little wedding party. The night before our 6 month, I took Marty out to Garcias, one of our favorite mexican restaurants. Then on the day we went out to dinner with Marty's parents to Royal Jade, a favorite chinese restaurant. Afterwards we took the dogs for a walk (it's tradition). We finished the night by visiting with Bruce and Karen.

Plus how could we say no to these faces?

Friday, we left for Bear Lake with my parents and little sister. My mom's side of the family met up at the Michaelis Cabin for a reunion and to celebrate the 4th of July.

Boating, swimming, kaiaking, biking, going on walks, wake-boarding, tubing, jet skiing, eating, talking, laughing, playing, friend visiting, sandcastle-ing, sunning, mosquito-biting, bonding, lighting fireworks, sitting by a bon fire, spraying bug spray, going to church, flying model air-planes, potato launching, star gazing, and everything elseing...
