So we spent the day at the Knolls. 36,000 acres of pure 4-wheeling heaven. A knoll, is a small round hill or mound. So the "knolls" are very appropriately named as there are little bumps along every trail in the 36,000 acres. Marty and I tagged along with Marty's parents Bruce and Karen for the day. We had to jump at the chance to have good weather, it's been so icky lately... This trip has been a long time coming, we were just waiting for the go-ahead from Mother Nature. We had a great time with just the four of us + one little poochie (Jenny).

Bruce and Karen.
The 4-wheeler is Karen's new toy, and we were lucky enough to experience its maiden voyage. She ran like a champ!
(Marty gets pretty epic helmet hair)
Jenny had a pretty good time with us too..
That is until she watched Bruce and Karen drive away.. She loves her masters.
I couldn't resist taking pictures in our goofy helmets.
Well maybe we're the goofy part..
Photo-op on the trail..
'nuff said ↑
We also got quite the craft group going while waiting our turns for the 4-wheeler.
The finished products were pretty sweet ↑
The middle of nowhere can be a pretty awesome place to spend the day.
